Beaujolais Villages Primeur 2001
This was the last of the 2001 Primeur that we sampled this year and at times, it was an ordeal. This wine was a little too acid to shine though at least not so much so that it was undrinkable. Aside from that, it did have the fresh fruity taste that at least makes these wines worthwhile.

All in all, it was one of the better of a poor bunch.

Wine rating 6/10. Value rating +1
