Maurice Granier Beaujolais 2003
When you pour this wine out, the dark colour belies the light fruity aroma.

It is also a refreshing change from the majority of Beaujolais which I have tried in the last couple of years. Unlike the rest, this wine was not spoiled by off tastes from poor quality corks.

While you will not want to drink this wine with a full rich meal, it is a good choice for a light lunch. Go for it.

Wine rating: 5/10. Value rating: Fair
