Reserve Chateaubriand 2007 Beaujolais
A good wine to wash down a fine steak. As with the 2006, this was just a touch more acid than I'd have liked but that was not a big issue.

In fact, this wine is pretty well indistinguishable from the 2006, the full fruitiness of the Gamay grpes was there and this wine will surely improve over the coming months.

Unlike many wines from supermarkets, this definitly needs to be allowed to breath for an hour or so for the best effect.

Wine rating 6/10. Value: above average
