Villa Demonte Montepulciano D'Abruzzo 2002
This wine is not typical of what you might expect from the label. Instead it is rather lighter in colour and also in body. It has quite a fruity taste but without the excess of acid that you might find in some low price wines produced to be light and fruity.

It is quite drinkable though my only complaints are that I prefer the more traditional style of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and that the cork was missing a large chunk from the bottom. It hadn't fallen off in the bottle, it had been inserted in that condition. Poor quality control.

Wine rating 4/10. Value 0
